anysite-live checks any site every minute from a public status page. No sign-up, no setup — just enter a domain.

Our checker’s User-Agent

Every check is sent from a single identifiable bot. If your WAF, CDN or bot protection challenges it, we cannot measure your site and the status shows as Blocked instead of a real result. Allow this User-Agent to get accurate readings:

Where to allow it:

Bot protection / WAF (Cloudflare, AWS WAF, Akamai, DataDome, and similar): add a rule that skips managed challenges and CAPTCHA for this User-Agent.
Rate limiting: we send one request per minute to your root path, so no special quota is needed — but make sure the bot is not caught by an aggressive rate-limit rule.
robots.txt: our checker requests only your root path and does not crawl, so no robots.txt change is required.

When we detect a challenge or CAPTCHA page, the check is recorded as Blocked and excluded from SLA and latency statistics — it is neither counted as up nor as down, because availability cannot be determined.

How checks work

Request: GET https://{domain}/
Interval: Every 60 seconds
Timeout: 10 seconds
Redirects: Followed, up to 5
Latency measured: Until response headers arrive (body download excluded)

What each status means

OperationalThe site responded normally, at its usual speed.
DegradedThe site responded, but noticeably slower than usual (over twice its 24-hour median), or returned HTTP 429.
DownThe site could not be reached: DNS, connection or TLS failure, a timeout, or an HTTP 5xx response.
BlockedBot protection intercepted the check (a challenge or CAPTCHA page), so the site’s availability could not be measured.

SLA is the share of checks that were not Down. Degraded checks count as available (slow but reachable); Blocked checks are excluded from both the numerator and the denominator.

Incidents

When a site stays Degraded or Down for more than 10 minutes, an incident opens automatically. It resolves once the site stays Operational for an hour. Anyone signed in can comment on an incident, and a verified domain owner can post timestamped updates.
